Olena Babak is Ukrainian born and a classically trained Ukrainian – European traditional artist. She graduated in 1997 at the University of Kharkive, Ukraine, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Art Degree. She then spent a full year in Ateliers painting and learning from well-recognized Ukrainian painters Alexseiy Kylakov and Anatoliy Bereshnoiy. Her paintings reflect her love of color, harmony, design, and attention to detail. Olena Babak is always striving with her portraits to capture not just likeness, but also the sitters mood and perhaps their soul.
Olena Babak is a juried member of “Landscape Artists International”, and member of the“St. Augustine Art Association”.
Olena Babak is represented by several galleries in the South and her works can be found in a number of private collections across the country.
